Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani (born 19 April 1957 in Yemen) is an Indian businessman and as of March 31, 2020, according to the India Times, he has assets of about $ 48 billion. He is the Chairman, Managing Director of Reliance Industries and the largest shareholder of the company. It is the largest private sector and Fortune 500 company in India. His personal stake in Reliance Industries is 47.25%. Mukesh Ambani still remains the richest person in Asia and the 17th richest person in the world as of March 2020. [8] The value of his wealth (according to Forbes) is US $ 48 billion, making him India's richest person. And his company Reliance Jio is India's largest telecom company.

Ambani, along with his brother and Anand Jain studied at Hill Grange High School in Pedder Road, Mumbai, which later became his close associate. He received his BE degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology. Later, Ambani enrolled for an MBA at Stanford University. He left his degree in the middle in 1980 to help his father in Reliance. Which was a small but fast growing enterprise at that time. "Dhirubhai believed that real life skills are experienced through experiences and not by sitting in a classroom." So he (Mukesh Ambani) called him back to India from Stanford to take command of a yarn manufacturing project in his company.

In the year 1971, he started helping his father run the industry and took up work in Reliance and the old search results of Reliance moved the textile industry to polyester fiber and then petrochemical. However, after separation between the two brothers, Reliance Infocomm Anil Dhirubhai Ambani moved into the group. Under Ambani's leadership, Reliance entered the retail market under its wholly owned subsidiary Reliance Retail. Telecom industries also included products and services. Reliance Jio has made it to the top five in the country's telecom services since its public launch on 5 September 2016.
